For the past three years, Winter Wonderland at the Scouting Adventure Center has become a favorite holiday tradition for Scouts, families, and community members. What began as a festive seasonal event has grown into a celebration filled with laughter, adventure, friendship, and unforgettable memories.
Each year, families have gathered to enjoy holiday crafts, games, sweet treats, and exciting climbing opportunities. Children have proudly decorated cookies with colorful frosting and sprinkles, created holiday keepsakes, competed for prizes in carnival games, and relaxed with holiday movies while sipping hot cocoa. The sounds of laughter and holiday music have filled the Adventure Center as old friends reconnect and new friendships are formed.
One of the most popular attractions year after year has been the Adventure Center’s 26-foot climbing wall. Hundreds of participants have challenged themselves to climb higher than they ever thought possible. From first-time climbers taking their initial steps off the ground to experienced adventurers racing to the top, the climbing wall has become a symbol of confidence, courage, and fun.
The annual visit from a special guest from the North Pole has added even more excitement to the festivities. Families have lined up for photos, shared holiday wishes, and captured moments that have become treasured memories in family photo albums.
The success of Winter Wonderland over the last three years has been built on something far greater than games, crafts, and activities. It has become a place where families spend quality time together, where Scouts invite friends to experience the excitement of Scouting programs, and where the community comes together to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season.
Now, we’re excited to invite everyone to our biggest and most festive Winter Wonderland yet on December 12, 2026.
