Celebrating the Success of the 2026 Missouri Eagle Scout Recognition Day

This year’s Missouri Eagle Scout Recognition Day at the State Capitol was an inspiring celebration of achievement, leadership, and commitment to service. Families, community leaders, and supporters from across the state gathered in Jefferson City to honor the newest class of Eagle Scouts—young men and women who represent the highest ideals of Scouting and the bright future of tomorrow’s leadership.

Honoring Missouri’s Newest Eagle Scouts

Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout is no small task. It requires years of dedication, perseverance, service, and personal growth. This year’s honorees demonstrated exceptional character and leadership throughout their Scouting journey, culminating in service projects that directly improved their communities.

The ceremony at the Capitol provided a fitting backdrop—an environment that symbolizes civic responsibility and public service, values deeply rooted in the Scouting movement.

Inspiring Words from Missouri Leaders

We were honored to welcome two distinguished speakers whose presence elevated this year’s celebration:

Missouri Supreme Court Justice Paul C. Wilson

Justice Wilson delivered thoughtful and motivating remarks that connected the virtues of Scouting with the responsibilities of citizenship and moral leadership. His reflections challenged the new Eagle Scouts to continue living with integrity and purpose as they enter adulthood.

State Representative John Voss

Representative Voss shared heartfelt words of encouragement, recognizing the hard work behind each Eagle Scout project and the lasting impact these young leaders have on their local communities. His message highlighted the importance of service and the essential role today’s youth play in shaping Missouri’s future.

Both speakers offered meaningful insights that resonated deeply with the Scouts and their families.

A Day of Pride and Celebration

Throughout the event, families beamed with pride as their Scouts were recognized for years of dedication. Leaders from across the state joined in applauding these achievements and expressing their support for Scouting’s ongoing mission in Missouri.

The ceremony reaffirmed the value of the Scouting program—fostering leadership, problem‑solving skills, resilience, and community service.

Looking Ahead

As these new Eagle Scouts continue their journey, they carry forward a tradition of excellence. Their accomplishments today lay the foundation for tomorrow’s leaders—individuals who will serve their communities, advocate for positive change, and uphold the values they learned in Scouting.

We are proud of each and every Eagle Scout honored at this year’s Missouri Eagle Scout Recognition Day. Congratulations to all! May your trail ahead be filled with purpose, service, and opportunity.
